Clare Steward is the Programme Director (Digital Social Care) for BLMK ICB

In the role Clare works across ICS health and care system, leading and developing the social care digitalisation agenda ensuring that the care market is in the strongest position it can be to draw upon the use of digital technology. Clare has a clinical background and drives hard to ensure that resident at the forefront of everything the programme undertakes and delivers

Having worked at an Executive level for over 20 years, Clare has held many operational and strategic leadership positions within the health and care arena. Clare has also led many complex and political system wide transformational programmes, and more latterly overseen the production and delivery of the BLMK ICS wide Population Health Management, Data and Digital strategies along with the introduction of digital technologies and informatics within the Social care arena. As a consequence of Clare’s leadership BLMK ICS is recognised nationally as one of the leading systems in relation to the delivering social care digitalisation

Clare was responsible for the implementation of the early adoption of predictive analytics, supporting independent living and reducing avoidable presentations in the Acute hospitals. Using data to directly transform how services are delivered with the focus starting with the resident.

Passionate about supporting true and health and care integration and optimising the contribution of our teams to ensure the delivery of better services to our residents, Clare is someone who invests genuinely in the support and development of the integrated teams to be the best that they can be in their delivery of service for the residents they serve.
