Tomas Sanchez is currently the Director for Data Curation and Open Data at NHS England. Before joining the NHS, Tomas worked as the Chief Data Architect for the Office for National Statistics, where he moved in 2017 from Airbus where he led an international team of Data Analysts and Scientists. Tomas’ main interests revolve around the power of system-wide good data management practices, and how they have a positive impact in driving data quality and automation for data operations. Tomas has a Ph.D in Computer Science from the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, and has spent the past 20 years outside of his home country of Spain working in data and technology
